I create because it is my way of life.

Photography has always been a love of mine. The ability to capture the beauty of movement and memories in time has always fascinated me.

Whether it is dance, painting, or photography, I love creating and working with others.

I grew up in a small town in Illinois and always dreamed of living somewhere bigger...so for college, I made my way to Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and Modern Dance from Texas Christian University's School for Classical & Contemporary Dance. While in school, I was always creating dance films, taking photos for friends, and taking pictures and making videos in my spare time. It wasn't until I took a photography class on a whim that I realized photography was my way of life and it always had been.

For now, I am living in Texas, and I travel between the Midwest and the Virginia coast. I am inspired by the dancers I work with, by the love I hold for my friends and family, and by the new faces I meet along the way.
